eXact learning solutions attended ICT 2015 (October 20-22, 2015), the major bi-annual event organised by the European Commission that saw the participation of 7.000 delegates from research, industry and SMEs to network, debate in the conference and hear the latest news on the European Commission’s new policies and initiatives with regard to Research and Innovation in ICT.
eXact learning solutions was also actively involved in the networking session “Creative Industries & ICT – A Forum to Outline the Future Roadmap” aiming at exchanging ideas on shared strategic collaboration between creative industries and ICT providers.
During the ICT 2015 event the new call, ICT-22-2016 on Technologies for Learning and Skills, was officially presented and launched. It was the occasion to know in advance the objectives and expectations of the EC for this call, namely:
• Develop and test open, interoperable components for a flexible, scalable and cost effective cloud-based digital learning infrastructure for primary and secondary education (K12)
• Personalised, collaborative or experimental learning and skills validation
• Technologies for deeper learning of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, combined with Arts (STEAM)
• Improving the innovation and creative capacities of learners and supporting the new role of teacher as a coach of the learner
The call has a budget of 31 ML€ and it is going to close on April 16, 2016.
